| November 2009 | November News 30 November 2009 November saw the workshop run on the 15th and attendance was good with many regulars and some new faces. Styles and media varied which gave some a chance to push their personal boundaries. This I would always encourage. If we extend beyond what we know we can do, we are then able to progress and break new ground. New work went to Without Pier Gallery on Bay Rd Cheltenham for the Christmas Postcard show. Please go and have a look if you are in the area, there are some wonderful artists exhibiting. My own contributions to the Postcard show were the 'Becalmed' and 'Transition' triptych' which are also recent additions to the Outdoor Studies section of this site. December will see things quieten down for the festive season break. I am usually lucky enough to get a break of about a week and so will be in the studio or outdoors working on some new pieces for 2010. |
